The former Clare goalkeeper Davy Fitzgerald has stepped down as the manager of the Wexford senior hurlers, Fitzgerald was in the position for five years and one a Leinster title in 2019 and if they had a big more luck in the semi-final that year, they could have went all the way and lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup. The question is being asked now, where will Davy Fitzgerald go next? A lot of people are saying Dublin, they have good young hurlers and a lot of finance to really go all the way. Or will Fitzgerald step away from the game completely…?
