The Italians got hammered by the French 50-10 in what was a very disappointing outing from Italy and very impressive one from the French. But it does raise the question should the Italians still be in the Championship? Italy don’t seem to be improving at all with with year in year out the Italians getting the wooden spoon and getting well beat in a lot of the matches. Where do you stand do Italy still deserve their place in the Championship or should Georgia or Romania or someone else be put in to replace the Italians.
The big question after the opening game of the Six Nations though it, will David Flatman survive his job after dropping the F word…
