Controversy seems to be following Ronaldo at the moment, with the forward unable to avoid being in the headlines. This decision is the latest episode in the saga which has seen the forward divide the opinions of all football fans. The fine is a punishment for the Portuguese’s conduct after a defeat at Goodison Park in April when Ronaldo controversially hit a fan’s phone into the ground. The FA have provided yet more ammunition to the anti-Ronaldo camp.
The question on everyone’s lips is where will Ronaldo end up next. Is a move to another Premier League club on the cards, or should he look to leave England altogether?
Talk of him coming to Newcastle, I’m not alone in thinking, hope not.
