Football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, has become the first evert athlete to reach 500 million followers on Social Media.
The half a billion following is spread across several social media platforms with the Juventus striker tallying 261 million followers on Instagram, 147 million followers on Facebook and 91 million on Twitter.

Such is the hunger for people to see inside the day to day of Ronaldo’s life he even has a YouTube channel that hans’t been used for four years that has one million subscribers.
Ronaldo is the first athlete to reached the half a billion followers mark on social media and it is expected that Juventus will look to exploit Ronaldo’s exposure as his platform can significantly help the club with marketing.

Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo to a four-year deal back in 2018, which is set to expire at the end of next season, in June 2022.
Ronaldo’s form in Italy this season has been impressive and Ronaldo’s social media reach will definitely be part of the negotiations should Juve decide to offer him a new deal.
