The former Cork hurling captain Tomás Mulcahy wasn’t one bit happy with the coverage and especially not to mention the big moment at the end of the minor hurling All-Ireland final between Tipperary and Offaly.
“Not taking from Tipp victory today but I cannot believe no mention on Sunday game or highlighting the play before the free for last goal was scored – it was a free out to Offaly -“
Does the man from Blackpool in Cork have a point?

Stop. 70 mins game is never decided on one moment

It’s certainly divided options online with one fan saying one moment doesn’t decide a game. It was a cracking game of hurling between the two sides and how good is it to see Offaly making great strides underage.
Ref usually don’t call fowls late in a match unless it’s very blatant. The no penalty call when Hurley was dangerously thrown was the worst decision by far. I though it is an automatic penalty. Player with ball was only 6 steps from goal when he was hit.
Without a doubt there was a free out to Offaly. A terrible shame to lose like this as this was a superb Offaly team. A great game of Hurling and a few future stars born.
