Derry won their first Ulster final since 1993 and it was one of the worst Ulster football finals ever seen! Compare that to the great few weeks we had of hurling. The former Meath football Colm O’Rourke didn’t hold back in his analysis of the Ulster football final saying;
“Isn’t it a pity that Derry are in an Ulster final for the first time of years, and there’s a huge crowd of young people and school kids coming along to this game to support and inspire them, and what a bore it turns out to be for everybody.”
See the full video of O’Rourke’s rant below, hard to argue against him, with it being shocking stuff.

"There's a huge number of kids here to be inspired by this sort of game, and what a bore it turns out to be for everybody…" – Colm O'Rourke has not been impressed as extra time begins.
