CJ Stander Gives Emotional Post Match Interview in his Final European Game for Munster

CJ Stander won his 50th cap for Munster on Saturday afternoon and it was also his final game for Munster in Europe, as the South African announced that he will be leaving Munster and Ireland at the end of June, when his contract runs out. Munster crashed out of Europe to a very good Toulouse side 40 points to 33 in a cracking game of rugby at Thomond Park.

Munster will have a few weeks off now until the Rainbow Cup kicks off and a rest is badly needed for the Southern province after a tough week losing to Leinster the week before and now Toulouse. It’s back to the drawing board for Munster and with some good young players coming through, it won’t be too long till Munster will be competing at the top end of the table again. Some soul searching to be done in the man time though for the Munster management team.
