According to the Daily Mail Manchester City had already arranged a massive party if they won the Champions League final, which Chelsea players got wind of and it gave the men in blue extra motivation to overcome their Premier League rivals.

In fairness most teams would probably arrange some party celebrations, but still a bit cheeky and very confident from the blue side of Manchester. Unfortunately for Pep Guardiola and his men, the wait for the Champions league title we’ll have to go on.
