Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain star Presnel Kimpembe, according to Foot Mercato.
Kimpembe is one of the most recognisable defenders in world football, having starred for both PSG and Les Bleus in recent seasons.
The platform he has been provided with at the Parc des Princes has seen him establish himself among an elite bracket of centre-backs.
However, could his time in Paris be coming to an end? Information published by Foot Mercato suggests that it could.
As per the report, Kimpembe is open to the idea of a new challenge – with CHELSEA understood to be keen on signing him.
Thomas Tuchel previously worked with the Frenchman, while Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta are all out of contract in the summer, as things stand.

You imagine it will take a HUGE sum of cash for Chelsea to convince PSG to part ways with Kimpembe, but Chelsea have the financial firepower and have shown willingness to use it.
Chelsea fans will be glad to hear that the club are reportedly shopping in the elite tier of players as they seek potential replacements for their star defenders.
Of course, no Chelsea fan will want to see the back of the likes of Rudiger and Christensen, but were they to do so, Kimpembe would not be a bad replacement, would he?
