Chelsea have locked Frank Lampard out of their training ground

Frank Lampard’s time as Chelsea boss has come to an end, a span much to short for the Chelsea legend’s liking but he didn’t have too much choice in the matter.

News broke this morning of the former English midfielder’s departure from his role in the London club with Roman Abramovich releasing a statement on the official website today stating.

Roman stated how ‘under current circumstances, we believe it is best to change managers’. Chelsea currently sit 9th in the Premier League, 11 points behind League leaders Manchester United and have just one win in their last 5 games.

They are still in contention for the FA Cup and Champions League this season, Frank finished 4th last season in the league and won the FA Cup last season.

Do you think Roman is being too harsh, or should he have even sacked Frank sooner?

Just 50 days ago, Chelsea were top of the league but as of this morning Frank seems to have been disowned by the club with club officials even stopping him from coming to Cobham to say goodbye to the player.

This doesn’t seem like the right way to treat a club legend.
