Celtic football club has sent a letter to supporters reminding them to wash before matches.
The bizarre correspondence was sent out after fans complained about a supporter’s odour in the Parkhead main stand.
Many thought is was a hoax when first reported, but the club confirmed the letter was at the request of “incumbents within the locale”.
The letter was sent to season-ticket holders who sat in one particular section of the main stand, and advised the fans that foul body odour was “impacting on the experience” of going to watch a match.
Understandably, the news is garnering a fair bit of attention online.
