Jamie Carragher was caught red-handed on CBS Sports’ Champions League show last night… having had no idea who fellow pundit Maurice Edu was.
CBS Sports have earned themselves quite the following on these shores after Carragher and fellow Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards hit it off on the channel while covering the Champions League.
Carragher’s witty banter and Richards’ infectious laugh add another layer of entertainment to the coverage, with last night’s show sure to have put a smile on the face of everyone watching.
Carragher and Richards were sat on a punditry panel alongside former USA international and three-time SPL winner Maurice Edu, who also made one Premier League appearance for Stoke City.

Unfortunately for Edu, the man sitting alongside him, Jamie Carragher, had absolutely no idea who he was. He was caught by the cameras GOOGLING the American ahead of the show.

Carra really ought to do his preparation ahead of time in future, rather than scrolling through the Wikipedia pages of his colleagues having already sat down next to him.
