KSI and Tommy Fury will finally meet this Saturday at the AO Arena.
Influencer boxing isn’t very popular with the hardcore boxing fans and it’s safe to say former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch doesn’t believe this should be classed as a ‘professional boxing’ bout.
Froch speaking to Best Gambling Sites said:
“Tommy Fury and KSI should not be called boxing. For me, this isn’t professional boxing. KSI isn’t a pro-fighter and this should be called a night of play fighting, not professional boxing.
OCTOBER 14TH, I’m doing what Jake Paul couldn’t and beating Tommy Fury on the biggest night in crossover boxing history, at Manchester’s AO Arena, live on DAZN PPV on the PRIME CARD!#KSIFury | @mf_daznxseries | @PrimeHydrate | @kickstreaming | @Stake | @DAZNBoxing pic.twitter.com/Nf6EX4aMRo

“But Tommy Fury better f****** win because even though this is play fighting, he’s representing pro boxing. He still should have way more than enough to beat KSI, like he did against Jake Paul. He’ll beat KSI as a professional fighter should.”
Froch continued: “I like Tommy Fury and I think fair play to him.
“He’s making mega money, so he’s smashing it. When I was at his stage of his career I was probably fighting for an area title. I became English champion and then stepped up to British title level and they were harder fights than what he’s got with Jake Paul and KSI, and he’s making an absolute fortune. F***** well done to you, pal. Keep smashing it.”
