🚨 Canelo Alvarez gives blunt response to possible Terence Crawford superfight

Undisputed super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez had been linked to a huge clash with fellow pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford despite the huge difference in weight.

Canelo was asked about a possible meeting with Crawford and responded bluntly.

He replied: “No.”

He then went on to explain exactly why he has no interest in the fight.

“They criticised me because I fought [Jermell] Charlo who gained weight, who is bigger than me, because I’m a small fighter for these weights, and because he gained weight, but they didn’t criticise him when I went up in weight.

He continued: “So now if you imagine Crawford as a welterweight. 168lbs, I have everything to lose and nothing to gain because if I win, they’ll say, ‘Oh, he was too small, and everything!”

Crawford hasn’t fought since his emphatic victory over Errol Spence Jr. in July of 2023.

Meanwhile Canelo is set to return to action on May 4th .
