Boxing fans are not best pleased after discovering that Jake Paul’s fight with Anderson Silva has been priced at $60 at the box office.
Paul will be taking on his childhood hero Silva on October 29th as he continues his quest to build his credentials in the professional boxing world.
Silva is, yet again, not an actual boxer, but after what happened with both Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr, you can hardly blame Paul for that.
Silva will undeniably be his toughest test yet and the fighting world will be keen to tune in and see how he gets on. Unfortunately, it’s going to cost an arm and a leg.
As is reported by the Mirror, the price to watch Paul take on Silva in the United States has been set at an almighty $60 for the full card of boxing.
It’s cheaper overseas, with UK residents able to buy the fight for ‘just’ £18, which still is a sizeable amount, but the U.S box office price is just farcical.
Neither of Paul’s last two fights have done well at the box office and it’s no surprise if he’s attempting to charge his fans that much to see him in action.
Wouldn’t pay for this fight no matter what it cost.
