Benjamin Mendy broke COVID rules to fly woman from Greece to Manchester for 4 day ‘romp’

Benjamin Mendy is in the headlines again and it’s not for his footballing ability, the Manchester City and France defender has reportedly broken COVID rules for a second time.

News broke recently of Mendy breaking Covid-19 rules as he threw a New year’s Eve party and even requested an agent send him a “big bum Latina” to celebrate. Pep and Man City condemned the actions but Guardiola still chose to name the Frenchman on the bench against Chelsea for their 3-1 thrashing.

The Sun report that Benjamin Mendy began messaging Greek woman Claudia Marino before flying her to his Cheshire mansion on June 29th. With Covid-19 rules, anyone flying into England was to self isolate for 14 days and when Claudia showed Mendy the strict rules she had to follow his response was

“U stay in my house.

“It’s ok they don’t gonna check.”

Claudia flew back to Greece on July 2

The 22 year old flew back on the 2nd of July but stated to the Sun that they ‘romped’ when she was there for 4 days and she also said –

“I’m not naive and I know what footballers are like but I thought it would be an experience.

“He was single so I wasn’t hurting anybody.

“We had some drinks and had a laugh. One day he took me to Leeds where he saw his dentist.”

The fact he took her outside of his home to Leeds is even more worrying as it’s a major break of lockdown rules. Do you think Pep will punish the defender?
