Australia ran out 45-10 bonus point winners against Uruguay to keep the pressure on Wales in Pool D of the Rugby World Cup.
Having lost to Warren Gatland’s Wales side last Sunday, Australia couldn’t afford any other slip-ups, and a 19-3 half-time lead all but ensured the win in Oita Stadium.
Tevita Kuridrani secured the bonus point just minutes into the second half, followed by three more Australian tries as the Uruguayan challenge faded.
Uruguay managed a consolation try late on, Manuel Diana crossing the line after a spell of pressure on the Australian defence.
Australia play their final Pool D game next Friday where they will face Georgia, with a win there securing a spot in the quarter-finals.
