We all too often hear of violent occurrences at South American football grounds. Unfortunately in this instance, the head coach of a football team was injured in the melee.

Videos emerged after Romero had left the field to receive medical treatment of his gunshot wound. Thankfully, there was no damage done to any major organs.

It’s a sore one for the gaffer to deal with and certainly not what he would have been hoping to take out of the contest, but he’ll be grateful to have escaped with his life.
