Boxer Amir Khan in hot water with police over live streaming while driving £100k Range Rover

Boxer Amir Khan has landed himself in hot water with the police after appearing to live stream on his phone while driving, reports The Sun.

Khan, who will be going toe-to-toe with long-term rival Kell Brook in February, spoke to his fans via a live stream on YouTube on Christmas Day.

As is mentioned in the report by The Sun, however, he did so while behind the wheel of a vehicle, which has seen the incident referred to the police for investigation.

The report notes that Khan did NOT touch or play around with the mobile device while driving, but there are still charges that he could be hit with if found guilty.

The report by The Sun includes a comment from Greater Manchester Police on the incident:

“GMP was made aware of a video on social media which appears to have been filmed whilst driving a vehicle. Police are currently investigating.”

Khan would be wise not to engage in conversation with his fans and followers while anywhere other than behind the wheel of a vehicle, for everyone’s safety.

Irrespective of whether the GMP choose to take the matter any further, he ought to be given a stern warning over his future behaviour.

All it takes is for a driver to take his eyes off the road for a moment for an accident to occur.
