Manchester United reportedly in for Christian Eriksen on loan deal

According to the Transfer Window podcast, Manchester United are interested in loaning out of favour former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan.

The deal is said to be held up due to United reportedly only offering to pay less than 40 per cent of Eriksen’s wages with Inter expected to cover the remainder.

Eriksen left the Premier League a year ago to join Inter Milan but since the move the 28-year-old has found it difficult to break into the first-team under Italian manager Antonio Conte.

So far Eriksen’s move looks to be a flop so maybe a loan spell back in the Premier League is exactly what the Danish international needs to reignite his sliding career.

Eriksen scored 69 goals in his 305 Tottenham Hotspur appearances but has only managed four in 40 games with Inter.

He has also failed to register a single goal or assist in his last 14 games for the Serie A giants so maybe a move away is what’s best for the struggling midfielder.
