Sunny Edwards has said he has no intention of fighting his brother.
Following the announcement of Sunny’s deal to sign with promoter Eddie Hearn Charlie Edwards said:
“The news is out the bag. Massive congratulations to my little brother Sunny Edwards for inking a deal with Eddie Hearn to get the biggest flyweight fights in the division.”
“But when you’re ready to get the real big fight on, get on the phone Eddie, give me a call.
“Edwards vs Edwards, let’s go.”
Charlie Edwards has now publicly called out his brother Sunny Edwards and wants to fight him for his IBF flyweight world title…

But Sunny speaking to TalkSport dismissed any possibility of the brothers fighting each other saying,
“Without going too much into it, I feel like it’s obvious why he’s done it.
“When he was a world champion and I had world title ambitions, I wasn’t calling his name.
“I was there beside him, holding his belt, ring walking with him, proud of him.
“Obviously just because you’re something, you can’t expect it back.
“But yeah, he wanted some attention for his career, he got it, but I think it was bad attention to be honest.
“I don’t think he’s come off good, I don’t think it did what he thought it was gonna do.
“If anything, he just came across very bitter and jealous.
