The Liverpool star was almost involved in a car crash after a 40ft electricity pylon was uprooted during the Storm Babet.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was driving when a 40ft pylon fell onto and smashed the windscreen of the car in front of him on Friday morning.

The defender slammed on his brakes but was unable to stop immediately, crashing into the back of the car according to reports from The Sun.

A source later told The Sun ‘it’s a miracle nobody was hurt’.

“The wind was so powerful it suddenly ripped up the pylon. It was really terrifying. It’s a miracle nobody was hurt. Someone could have easily been killed. What are the chances of that happening? Alexander-Arnold must feel like he’s cheated death. A few seconds later and it could have gone through his windscreen. It’s absolutely treacherous out there.”
