What a great contest that was between two power houses of Gaelic football in Kerry and Dublin. Dublin won their 31st All-Ireland and James McCarthy, Stephen Cluxton and Michael Fitzsimons won their ninth medal.

Will Jack McCaffrey comeback again next season, when he came off the bench today, he was a serious threat every time he got the ball. What a player and what speed he is, a top, top talent and one that Dublin will need again next year, if they want to do two in a row.

The countdown has begun already to January when the inter county season will return.
