John Terry has slammed Piers Morgan with a brutal reply on Twitter after a back-and-forth about their clubs.
With the January window slamming shut on Tuesday night, no league in Europe has spent as much as the English top flight and it’s not even close.
A massive reason for the Premier Leagues’ gigantic financial lead over everybody else this window is because of Chelsea and Todd Boehly. The London club have spent an eye-watering £323 million on eight separate players raising their overall spending since the summer to over £500 million.

This money first questions later approach has drawn criticism from fans of rival clubs, with the latest being Arsenal fan, Piers Morgan. The presenter took to Twitter to criticise the club for their outrageous transfer bill and to remind them that they need a ‘telescope’ to see his team at the top of the league.
This Tweet didn’t go unnoticed by club legend, John Terry who slammed Morgan with a brutal reply claiming that he has won more trophies since retiring than Arsenal.
