You just about beat Ireland, while our boys only performed to about 75%-80% of their ability and the standards they set themselves over the past 2 years, so consider yourselves lucky, a Jordi Barrett wrist lucky. I thought the ABs played extremely well but ye needed to and it was an excellent game of rugby. Also, just remember rugby union is our 4th ranked sport in Ireland, but it’s yer 1st. Best of luck in the rest of the tournament, i had planned to cheer ye on for the rest of it having spent time in NZ in the past and having had a keen interest in watching and appreciating how well the ABs play the game. But with this unwarranted backlash from yer supporters i’ve decided to go with SA instead. They were excellent against France and having partied with the SA supporters in Paris a few weeks ago, they were superb supporters, no bitterness, just plenty of banter, so far more deserving of another WC.
