WOW: Back To The Future 2 Was Just One Year Off Predicting Cubs World Series Victory

Way back in 1989 the cult movie ‘Back to the Future’ predicted that the Chicago Cubs would win the world Series in 2015 and guess what they did just that, shattering their 108-year championship drought in epic fashion with an 8-7, 10-inning victory over the Cleveland Indians.

Now the prediction was one year out but considering it’s been 108 years since the Cubs won the title and the movie also predicted Jaws 19 would be in movie theatres and the hover boards would be a thing, we think they deserve the credit all the same.
