Deontay Wilder has tweeted for the very first time in 2022 amid rumours that he is on the verge of returning to the ring.
Wilder ruled for several years as the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, obliterating every fighter in his path with that explosive right hand, which is regarded as one of the hardest power punches in boxing history.
However, the extraordinary Tyson Fury’s return from the brink to fight Wilder marked the end of his reign as champion, with the Gypsy King dethroning his American rival in a thrilling trilogy over in the states.
Wilder has not stepped foot in the ring since, nor has he been active at all on social media this year, until now. The Bronze Bomber sent out the below cryptic tweet on Wednesday…
