Seven-year-old Zied and his father Osama Alabed Almohse were in the headlines earlier this month when Osama was tripped by a camerawoman while carrying Zied in his arms.
The incident sparked an outcry against the Hungarian camerawoman, who lost her job, and Zied and his family were offered refuge in Spain.
Real Madrid, who had already announced they would donate €1 million toward the refugee crisis, took an interest in the family.

Earlier in the week, they were brought on a tour of Real’s stadium, the Bernabeu, and yesterday Zied was invited to be one of the team mascots.
The little boy was greeted by a cheering crowd as he walked out onto the pitch holding hands with his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
