Conor McGregor took time out of preparations for his upcoming interim title fight against Chad Mendes to continue his quest for media domination by appearing on US talk show Conan.
He entertained the crowd throughout, but got the biggest reaction when host Conan O’Brien brought up boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr and asked if McGregor would be willing to fight him.

“I know he would not want to step into my world, the world of pure unarmed combat where there is no limitations,” McGregor answered. “But I would most certainly step into his world.”
“I would certainly box him if the opportunity arose.”

The Dublin fighter was his usual quick-witted and cocky self, joking about superstitions and snappy dressing, and much more besides.
McGregor said he draws inspiration from watching predators in the wild.
“I’m obsessed with animals,” he explained. “To watch animals and how they hunt and prey in their natural environment is pretty spectacular.”
A lot of MMA commentators suggest the Dublin fighter will struggle in the ring against the wrestling style of Chad Mender, but one thing’s for sure.
When it comes to the media and trash-talking, McGregor is king of the jungle.
