Before Liverpool’s derby clash with Manchester United, Jamie Carragher was spotted selling ‘Philli’ t-shirts, a clothing brand which he has frequently featured on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, outside Anfield last night.
Carragher was then busted by the police, who didn’t seem too enthusiastic about the former Liverpool player’s exploits and seemingly accusing Carragher of “trading without a license.”
In fact when the officer asked to see Carra’s license the Liverpool legend responded “No I didn’t need one – I’m king of Anfield.”
Don’t worry though Carragher won’t have any court day any time soon as it was revealed that the whole thing was a publicity stunt set up to promote the brand.
