Remember that brief time when former Celtic and Sweden legend Henrik Larsson played for Manchester United?
Before his move to England, Larsson had returned to his hometown club of Helsingborg after his contract with Barcelona had expired. He then joined Manchester United on a brief loan spell between January and March of 2007.
Despite such a short spell at Old Trafford Larsson got his name on the scoresheet on three occasions. He didn’t score any spectacular goals but what he did do is show that class is permanent because all three of his goals were an exhibition in clinical finishing.
Larsson scored a total of 325 goals in his 576 club appearances and announced his retirement from football on 20 October 2009.
