“I’m ashamed and embarrassed”
Ben Mee took to the microphone after his team’s 5-0 defeat to City, not to speak about the game or their beating, but to speak about the shameful banner being flown overhead as the players kneeled for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Burnley came out after the game and released a statement stating that:
“We wish to make it clear that those responsible are not welcome at Turf Moor.
“This, in no way, represents what Burnley Football Club stands for and we will work fully with the authorities to identify those responsible and issue lifetime bans.”
