The big dutch central defender Virgil van Dijk won’t be long till he gets back on the pitch after that shocking tackle from Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside derby. This will be a badly needed boost for the Liverpool club as they have been struggling as of late with failing to win a game in their last three games and failing to score a goal. The Dutch captain is currently over in Dubai being put through his paces and hoping to come back strong, fitter than ever when he comes back for the Liverpool club.

Currently the two Manchester clubs are top of the league, with Liverpool’s bitter rivals Man United getting out of London with a good win against strugglers Fulham on Tuesday night. Liverpool face Burnley this evening and they will be hoping to get the win at home to Sean Dyche’s side, if they don’t the pressure will mount.
