Gonzaga Bulldogs’ Jalen Suggs broke the internet yesterday evening with a quite remarkable buzzer beater against UCLA Bruins in the Final Four of the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament.
Gonzaga must have thought they’d thrown it away after UCLA tied the game with 3.3 seconds left on the clock.
However, Jalen Suggs, had other ideas, carrying the ball beyond halfway and taking on the shot from way downtown.
US College basketball gets plenty of press and attention across the pond, but is often neglected in Europe – certainly in comparison to the NBA.
When you see talents of Jalen Suggs calibre produce moments this dramatic, you have to wonder where they aren’t more eyes on the sport.
This is vintage.

The Zags have earned themselves a title shot thanks to this moment of inspiration from Suggs, whose brilliant three-pointer is even better with titanic music.
