UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis was a brilliant card – It had a bit of everything. Glorious knockouts, excellent submissions, distance brawls and even some ‘first-time in history’ moments.

Featherweights Chas Skelly and Jamall Emmers were scheduled to fight on the card’s prelims.

However, in what was a bizarre turn of events, Skelly ended up claiming the victory right after making his entrance walk-on.

Unfortunately for Skelly’s opponent, Emmers was forced to pull out right at the last moment due to suffering with a last-minute back spasm.

A UFC bout has never been called-off so close to a fight’s bell; making Skelly’s victory a first in the top-tier promotion’s history.

Skelly was naturally awarded with the win and also picked up the winning pay-cheque.

Easy night’s work!
