UFC featherweights Julian Erosa and Nate Landwehr clashed during Sunday’s Fight Night.
The 145lb match-up had all the makings of being a barn-burner, and it didn’t disappoint.
The fight was called in Erosa’s favour after just 56 seconds of the very first-round after a devastating flying-knee dropped his 32-year-old opponent.
After what appeared to be a perfectly timed strike which forced referee Mark Smith into making a quick stoppage, it quickly became apparent that Landwehr may not have been as hurt as originally feared.
As Erosa was rightfully celebrating, Landwehr was overheard shouting expletives at the referee, protesting at what he deemed to be an early stoppage.
