A minute’s applause has been held at the start of the Republic of Ireland game against Scotland at the Aviva.
Fans and players took part in the applause as a tribute to RTE broadcaster Bill O’Herlihy and to former Republic of Ireland player Johnny Fullam.
Bill O’Herlihy at the age of 76, while Johnny Fullam died this week, aged 75.
Tributes were also paid to two of Robbie Keane’s cousins, Alan and Stephen Harris, who died this week after being overcome by fumes while working on a sewer in Portmarnock, and Belvedere U16 player Shetemi Ayetigbo.
