The Western Province played the Natal Sharks in South African today in the semi-final of the Currie Cup traditional a huge cup in the rugby calendar of Springbok rugby. The Natal Sharks won out winners in the end 19-9 and progresses to the final of the Currie Cup, but the Out-half for the Sharks won’t thank his scrum-half for giving him an ‘hospital pass’ and the Western Province player made no mistake and lined him up, see it here;

The South African rugby public will be hoping the the pandemic gets under control sooner rather than later, with the Lions tours on the horizons this summer, but as the weeks go on it looks less and less likely it will go ahead. But at least they got a cracking Currie Cup final to look ahead to for the moment with the Blue Bulls defeating the Golden Lions in the other semi-final today, the final promises to be a cracker!
