Sad news broke today of the passing of Argentina and football legend Diego Maradona aged just 60. He is currently being mourned by every football fan throughout the world with people coming together online and in cities where he has played from Naples to Buenos Aires.
He died of a heart attack, just weeks after brain surgery from which he left hospital on the 11th of November and was sent home to recover.
The football world is in shock and has been reminiscing over some of his amazing highlights and top moments. From his goal of the century against England to this spine tingling reception at the world renowned La Bombonera just months ago.

Diego had 2 stints at Boca Juniors as a player, almost beginning his career there, winning a league title and then making a world record transfer to Barcelona in the 80’s before finishing his playing career there in the 90’s.
The fans in Argentina look at him more as a god than a player and it shows when you see how they react to him coming onto the pitch.
