The Irish International Matt Doherty got sent off for receiving two yellow cards throughout the game and finally was sent to the stands in injury time. Spurs at that stage were three till up and you’d wonder was that necessary? Doherty is fighting for his place in the Tottenham first 11 and this will only cast doubt in Mourinho’s mind.
Spurs are currently lying third in the table, four points behind rivals Manchester United and Mourinho’s former club. Tottenham needed this result to get them back on track after dropping a lot of points as of late.
The Premier League is wide open this season with Liverpool after drawing their last two games and Man Utd even after all their poor performances are right in the mix, so I’m sure Jose and Spurs will reckon they can have a crack off winning the title.
