A referee in a Liga MX game kneed a player below the belt after he was confronted for booking his teammate.
A Mexican referee, Fernando Hernandez, wasn’t taking any nonsense during the Liga MX game between Club America and Leon.
In a moment of madness, Hernandez decided to knee a player, Lucas Romero, in the privates after he confronted him face to face.

The Mexican Arbitration Commission released a statement on the incident.
“The Referees Commission informs that an investigation process will be opened into the events that occurred with the referee Fernando Hernández in the América vs. León, corresponding to Matchday #13 of the Liga MX.
“The resolution will be released to public opinion.”
