Phil Mickelson had a day to forget at this weeks PGA Tour competition at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am after he hit a quadruple Bogey on the courses 18th hole.
The legendary American golfer burst into laughter after he finished the day on 10 over and is heard saying while picking up his ball:
“Paul, that’s a 9 … I’m kind of crushing the par 5s right now.”
Everyone has a bad day at the office every now and then and it’s hard to cope with sometimes but with so many years on tour Phil was able to laugh it off.
With shots going into the water on their way to the green and when he finally landed a ball onto solid ground it went into the bunker at the side of the green.
Phil knew it wasn’t his day the moment his first shot went into the water but we’re sure he’ll bounce back next competition.
Enjoy this blunder reel while you can, it doesn’t happen very often.
