Takumi Minamino has showed immense composure to score a goal for Southampton and Chelsea and Liverpool fans will be absolutely loving seeing their loaned out player shine against another ‘Big 6’ club.
He picked up the ball right on the defensive line and managed to send Azpilicueta sliding past with a dummy before sitting Mendy down and kicking the ball past him into the back of the net.
That now marks his fifth goal in his last 11 games. A stunning record for a player that didn’t seem to be good enough to make it into Liverpool’s starting XI but surely now Klopp will look at the Japanese forward differently.
He is showing he can perform in the Premier League and could be a good rotation player with Salah, Mane and Firmino.

Is Takumi good enough to battle for a spot in Liverpool’s starting XI or should he stay on the bench?
