Liverpool new boy Ben Davies has revealed the details behind a story of a sofa the some fans asked the clubs official TV station to ask the 25-year-old during his first interview with the club.
Liverpool FC confirmed the signing of centre-back Ben Davies from Preston North End on deadline day for £2 million.
The defender is a welcome addition to the squad amid Liverpool’s current defensive injury crisis which sees regular starters Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez out with long-term injuries.
The Reds had been scrambling to sign a player that will not only fit Jurgen Klopp’s unique style of play but also fall within their financial targets.
Davies was the perfect man for what the current Premier League champions were looking for and during an interview with LFCTV the new boy explained what happened to a sofa he was trying to sell on Twitter.
