Gerwyn Price was the winner of the William Hill 2021 PDC World Darts Championship winner and this morning he was on Soccer AM.
The Welshman beat two time winner Gary Anderson convincingly in a 7-3 display that saw Gerwyn leave with the £500,000 winner’s cheque.
Price won five of the first six sets and Gary was unable to pull the huge deficit back despite Gerwyn taking his foot off the pedal and ultimately coasting home to the Championship.
On Soccer AM this morning he was talking all things football, rugby, life and most of all darts. The presenters asked him how he celebrated winning the Championship and his answer was priceless.
"Went back to the room, doughnuts, Kebab and sleep" 🥙🍩

I’m certain that it must be hard to celebrate a momentous win like that during the COVID pandemic with no fans allowed in and contact with friend and even family limited but that didn’t stop Gerwyn from having the perfect night as he celebrated with some doughnuts, a kebab and a nap.
Sounds perfect to me.
