Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher are icons of Monday Night Football and with such a stacked weekend of action they have lots to cover but it seems neither player wants to speak about their former club and their former club’s games over the weekend with Gary Neville revealing the one thing that ruined what could of been the perfect weekend of Premier League football.
For Gary, seeing Liverpool lose 3-1 to Leicester was a treat for him and the ideal start on Saturday but his Sunday didn’t go so well as Manchester United struggled to scrape a single point against Big Sam’s West Bromwich Albion.
This was what stopped last weekend from being perfect as even Manchester United legend Roy Keane joined social media which has been the highlight of the season so far. With the legend managing to rack up over one million followers in a matter of days.
🗣 "Don't mention Manchester United, it ruined the almost near perfect weekend, Liverpool losing, Roy Keane joining Instagram, United victory would've topped it off."@GNev2 was very close to experiencing a perfect weekend 🤣 pic.twitter.com/CR5iwDP1ut
