We’ve seen the pictures of Conor McGregor after beating Chad Mendes – the latest UFC video shows the quiet moments the Dublin fighter spent with his family immediately after his win.
McGregor was pushed hard by the wrestling style of Mendes, but won out thanks to his brutal left hand shot – and the exhaustion shows in this clip.
McGregor bear hugs his family as they surround him and offer their congratulations, telling him: “We’re so proud of Conor”.
Earlier in the video, we had seen their jubilation as they saw him declared the winner.
But the tiredness is clear in McGregor’s stance and voice, saying: “It feels like I f**king earned it, that’s what it feels like”.
