Northampton’s Lloyd Jones deserves a medal for the block he made last night during their 1-0 victory over Oxford.
Though, a medal would be little consolation for how his crown jewels will be feeling this morning.

Jones, who began his time as a professional footballer as a Liverpool player, had four lower league loans before eventually departing the Reds in hope of building the foundations of his career.
He now finds himself with Northampton Town in League One, and while he hasn’t developed into the calibre of defender that could see him return to Anfield, he’s certainly been listening to the archaic ‘body’s on the line’ instructions during training.
With Northampton facing off against Oxford yesterday evening, Jones sacrificed his own manhood, and perhaps any chance of him reproducing later in life, by blocking a shot with his meat and two veg.
This has to be one of the most painful, but commendable, blocks we’ve ever seen…
Ouch… 😬😂
