David Clifford once again was swarmed by young supporters just seconds after the final whistle was blown after his side secured a spot in the All-Ireland Junior final.

Kerry champions Fossa easily brushed past Castletown in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday. As expected the Clifford brothers played key roles in their team’s victory, David scored 0-7 and Paudie 0-2.

The match took place in front of a sold-out crowd in Portlaoise and as the final moments drew closer, hundreds of young fans could be seen lining up and down the sideline.

When the referee finally blew the whistle, the supporters stormed onto the field in the direction of Clifford in hopes of grabbing an autograph.

This has been one hell of a year for the Kerry forward.

He won the Munster Championship, League and All-Ireland with Kerry before being named as the Footballer of the year at the All-Stars.

If he does go on to win the All-Ireland with his club, it will be a perfect way the end his magnificent year.
