Argentina has gone 2-0 up after an electric counter-attack goal which was finished off by Angel Di Maria.
Argentina and Lionel Messi are one step closer to lifting the greatest trophy of them all, the World Cup. They have been by far the better team as France can barely get a sniff off the ball.
Messi opened the scoring with a cool penalty just after 20 minutes and now Di Maria has doubled their lead.
Argentina has shown how clinical their counterattack is once again.

France is well and thoroughly against the ropes and you must wonder how badly affected has the squad been by that reported illness.
If they do overturn this monumental deficit, they will be the first team since 1954 to do it in a World Cup final.
